Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence
A notable gathering in Madrid united religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on dialogue, tolerance and mutual understanding. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and news eureka springs arkansas composer, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how open dialogue can help build more inclusive communities.
Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
